goo-goo for gaga

It could be said with good reason that Lady Gaga' stylist has one of the greatest jobs in the fashion industry, perhaps in the world.. Talk about a chance to give your creativity a whirl! Here you've got a girl who has previously gone out in London pants-less (on purpose AND sober) and performed on The Jay Leno Show in a thong leotard... with nude tights over the top of them... it was awkward for everyone. Believe it or not when Gaga offered famed-stylist Akerlund the job she said, "No thanks." Numerous times. Buuuut, she had good reason. She had just had twins! However, when the Lady asked Akerlund's husband to produce her new video for 'Paparazzi' the duo decided to team up for the challenge!

Ironically, Akerlund is Gaga's first real stylist. She has collaborated with fashion director Matthew Williams before working with clothes that she made for herself under the name 'Haus of Gaga'.

"I feel like I have a lot of input because I come from the world of fashion. I don’t like to pull fashion; I like to make fashion. I feel like Gaga and I are alike in that respect. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about the new hot designers; it’s whatever we feel like doing at the moment. If that means pulling from old resources of designers we like or archives of things or whatever it is. It doesn’t matter as long as it feels right."

she's gorgeous. she's got killer style & she's the daughter

at just 20-years-old zoe kravitz has become a style icon, an actress, and is on her

way to becoming a rock star just like her pops.

she has appeared in roles opposite both jodie foster and catherine zeta jones,

but zoe's real love is behind the mic.

she has so far been featured in will.i.am's online video "we are the ones" in support of president barack obama as well as jay-z's video, "i know"... not bad for a beginner.

she actually has a phenomenal voice herself and is the lead-singer

for philadelphia based band Elevator Flight, they're definitely worth checking out.

her raspy vocals make her a modern day courtney love, minus the whole crock-whore thang!

she has dated actor ben foster & is now dating mgmt's andrew vanwyngarden<3

is cooper the new brad pitt?

lets be honest. it was only a matter of time before someone came along in hollywood with as much, if not more, 'swagger', sex appeal, and charm as the godly brad pitt.

perhaps, the time has come?

with hit movies including wedding crashers, he's just not that into you, and now hangover under his belt bradley cooper is well on his way to producing a frenzy among female fans, many of which (including my 58-year-old boss suzanne) have named him, 'sex on a stick'.

so who is this handsome hunk huh? where did he come from. details. details. it's been forever since we've had a real man like pitt, clooney or dicaprio hit the big screen.

cooper, who is only 34-years-old, graduated from georgetown (brains too?!!) and shortly after relocated to new york city to receive his... MASTERS. yup, he's a catch!

he even had a cameo in a '98 episode of sex & the city opposite SJP, how did i not know that? i thought i was a master of sex & the city. hmmm..

the 6'1 hunk was married to the beautiful jennifer esposito for .... 4 months? that's kinda weird. rumor is homeboy was a bit of a drinker back in the day, but now is completely sober. guess you would always have a DD when he's around? (this guy just keeps getting better...). not to mention he's freakin' hilarious!

Bye Bye Karl?

Apparently the fashion industry is as vulnerable to gossip as TV and film. The most recent 'buzz' is that world renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld is, gasp.... leaving Chanel. Dun dun dun...

I know. I mean this is worse than the whole Somali pirate shizz that was going on last month. World hunger and starvation can hold its horses, but Karl you better stay put. The rumor is that Karl is ready to move on to "bigger and better" things. Hello.. what's better than Chanel? Ever head of the ol' saying 'don't bite the hand that feeds you?' Take notes Karl...

The US has eagerly been awaiting the domestic release of the film, "Coco before Chanel", and apparently Mister Lagerfeld is eager to get his paws on the silver-screen as well. Diva(o) much? Apparently current Lanvin designer, Alber Elbaz would take over for Chanel and former Nina Ricci designer, Olivier Theyskens, would take over Lanvin.

Here is a piece of factual evidence that Karl is in fact moving on: he has been confirmed to voice the animated film, "Totally Spies." He will play the villain, Fabu! (Is that fabulous in french, hmmmm... sounds like it?) What are we gonna do without Karl's sexy white George Washington-like ponytail at the end of all the fashion shows? Lame. Lame. Lame.

It all seems a little "musical chairs" hits the fashion industry, doesn't it?!!

chanel iman robinson was born in november of '89 in atlanta georgia.

she is of both african american and korean decent (look out kimora!)

the beauty grew up in culver city, california and entered ford model's supermodel of the

world competition in 2006 and placed third.

nevertheless, the agency knew that she was the real deal and signed

her anyways. it was no time before miss chanel was strutting down the runways

of the biggest designers in the business: dolce & gabana, issey miyake, marc jacobs, valentino, dsquared, hermes, michael kors, oscar de la renta, ralph lauren, anna sui, diane von furstenburg, vera wang, john paul gaultier, and stella mccartney!

even though she's still super-new to the biz' she has appeared in campaign ads for bottega veneta, GAP, victoria's secret pink, and united colors of benetton.

she has also shared her aspirations to design "like pharrell did for louis vuitton".

she may only be 19 years young, but she has certainly accomplished a lot more than the average teen. as well as appeared in both vogue and teen vogue numerous times and has been mentioned as part of the new crew of supermodels.

perhaps her most recent claim to fame?

her love affair with up&coming hip hop tycoon 'tyga'

the two may only have been dating for a short time,

but they decided to make their relationship as public as possible

recently when they posed together for the may '09 issue of vogue.

(perhaps it was just a massive publicity stunt for both of their budding careers, but hey... what ever works?!)

the supermodel used to date music producer ryan leslie, who is 31, before tyga.

he is also a rapper and singer himself and founded the marketing/media company NextSelection Lifestyle Group. He is best known for his work with R&B singer cassie on "me & u". his career may be on the way up.. but his relationship with chanel is certainly DUNZO.
